RocDog Visits

Therapy dogs from RocDog will be visiting to provide companionship. Visitors are invited to enter the children’s area to interact with these friendly canines. No prior registration is required; attendees are welcome to join on a drop-in basis.

Children are given the opportunity to read stories to book-loving dogs from RocDog, who visit the Gates Public Library on the first and third Thursdays of each month. This activity serves as an effective method for young readers to gain confidence in reading aloud, as they engage with calm and trained dogs that are eager listeners.
